Phil Laak's New World Record!

Phil Laak New World Record!

Phil Laak passed the World record of playing poker continuous after clocking 115 hours! He played $10/$20 full ring NLHE and he chose the Bellagio for this special occasion.

Laak will donate the money to the Camp Sunshine organization, which holds summer camps for children with life-threatening illnesses. During this time donations were being received, and some players at the Bellagio also donated part of their winnings for this good cause.

Laak accomplished this new world record by planning his eating schedule and doing yoga. He was allowed to take 5 minutes every hour, or accumulate the breaks and take 30 minutes after 6 hours.

The previous record was set by Paul Zimbler last year in London; he held a record of 78 hours.

Congratulations Phil Laak and we hope to see many other players helping charity organizations and of course breaking world records.
